What rebates are available in Peel?
Peel Region pays 60% of a sanitary backwater valve, up to $1,500, in all three municipalities. Mississauga adds a City rebate of up to $7,500 for sump pumps, storm valves, foundation drain capping and downspout disconnection.
Can I get the Peel rebate with a basement apartment?
Not if the apartment shares the sewer lateral with the main house — Peel excludes multi-unit dwellings and basement apartments that share a lateral.
